Follow-up

[08-12 09:41] Harry Mwaungulu: We took a bit of time to start utilising the money
Because of our beauracratic system of running the affairs
Now am hapy to report to u that all tools hv been bought &delivered in all stations that we r working
Next week i ll b travelling to central & north to supervise
Fruits hv also been bought already

[08-12 09:58] haan66: Thanks a lot Harry! I am very happy to see things are moving on. It looks nice. We are now preparing to leave for Tanzania next Tuesday. Is it allready time to buy nandolo (pigeon peas) seeds? When do you think you can plant? If you know how much money is left you can spend most of it on pigeon peas. Have a safe trip to the North!
[08-12 16:07] Harry Mwaungulu: 190,000MK, hv been allocated for pigeon peas & the process of purchase is in progres
We formulated a team of four people to run the project
Mr Simwer as cordinator, myself facilitator, mr nyanga accountant, mr masinja procurement
I will give you a brief repot when i come back from centra & north: we had to write the commissooner farm, Mr Kainja, the Chief commissioner to formery brief them in writing about the project
This proces took a bit of time
I am happy that the Chief Comm was very happy to learn about the program
Initially he didnt knew what is going on
He even came with some suggestions in some aspects of the project
Like buying of hoes, he said, we can use ours
I wanted to arrange & put in order all the activities first, then i hav to brief u about that
I know you were very eager to know the progres
Pliz bear with us, we are progresing in the right direction & things are well taken care of
The management has been very thankful to you for this project including pigeon peas
The delay was because i was fighting for files to move from one office to the other & pushing for procurement proceses to speed up because it involves several people
But as of now, what mostly remains is we are looking forward to start planting the trees as the rains hav started in some parts of the country
Office work is now almost complete which gave us a lot of delays
Our focus now goes to the field
Thank you very much for your patience & understanding
I will keep on comunicating to u effectively in all matters of the project progres
Good evening, thanks a lot

[09-12 09:28] haan66: Thanks very much for all information. I trust everything will be fine. I look forward to your report. I hope preparations can be made for the continuation of the project next year. Maybe the bureaucracy can assist in that too.

Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up. This website is something that is required on the internet, someone with a bit of originality!
